1. Acceptance

By accessing or using blurtool.ai, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What blurtool.ai does

blurtool.ai is a browser-based privacy tool that allows you to blur faces, personally identifiable information (PII), and custom regions in images. All processing occurs locally in your browser. We do not receive, store, or transmit your image files.

3. Credits

Clean (watermark-free) exports require credits. Credits are purchased through our payment processor (Stripe) and are non-transferable. Credits have no expiry date and remain valid as long as your account exists.

We reserve the right to change credit prices at any time. Price changes do not affect credits already purchased.

4. Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all credit purchases. To request a refund, email hello@blurtool.ai within 30 days of purchase. Refunds are not available for credits that have already been spent.

5. Acceptable use

You may use blurtool.ai only for lawful purposes. You may not use the service to:

• Process images you do not have the right to use
• Circumvent or obscure evidence in legal proceedings without authorization
• Engage in any activity that violates applicable law
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service

6. Your content

Because all processing happens in your browser and no image data is transmitted to our servers, we have no access to your images. You retain full ownership of your content. We make no claim to any files you process using blurtool.ai.

7. Accounts

You may use blurtool.ai as a guest or by signing in with Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

blurtool.ai is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI detection results will be 100% accurate. Always verify redactions before sharing sensitive documents.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, blurtool.ai and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made.
